Ballet Expressions
The fourth presentation from our five Capitol Kids Season Series!
How does a dancer tell a story? With movement, of course!
Using an excerpt from Bengt Jorgen “Cinderella”, “Coppelia” and an original dance work, Ballet Jörgen Canada will showcase how ballet evokes emotions and tells a detailed story without words.
We will engage the audience in discussion – explaining the behind the scenes tools choreographers and dancers use in their expression of this time honoured and universal body language.
Kids will be welcomed to join us with their own expressions too!
